"Way of the Samurai 3" is the second continuation of the popular game released for the PlayStation 2, which now comes to next-generation consoles in the hands of Acquire, studio responsible for the series "Tenchu" and "Shinobi". The original release was done by the distributor Nipponese Spike and adaptation to the West was in charge of UFO Interactive.
Here the player can choose between a samurai middle-aged, a young swordsman or a runaway. In this episode, the plot revolves around three factions, each with its own goals: the clan of warriors Fujimori, the band of marauders Ouka and farmers.

As in the predecessors, the player has the freedom to explore the map and carry out missions that find convenient. The intention is that the player to choose his path, as the title suggests: be a warrior or just a bloodthirsty killer. Therefore, it is now possible to draw the sword at any time and even attacking defenseless citizens. You can also get on his knees to apologize to someone, and be emotionally involved with a loving couple.

The game has over 100 choices of knives to make continual duels increasingly strategic and also includes the option to reforge their equipment to make improvements. There is also the system of partnership, which means that aides to the players to perform more complex tasks, and some minigames.
