Sigma evil waged a war of fury on Earth in an attempt to annihilate the human race. Megaman X8 begins after the fall of this devastating battle. The planet Earth has been devastated and the remaining humans are forced to seek a new home.

This eighth installment, which is starring Mega Man and allies Zero and Axl, is an action adventure full of new and more variety and depth than any previous series. Your mission begins on an Earth ravaged by war after the offensive launched Sigma on the planet. The human race has planned an exodus to the moon and to this end has been producing a new generation of robots that will be sent to colonize. But Sigma has contaminated their DNA so that they turn against humans. In this adventure, you and your teammates dirigiréis you to the moon in a space mission of epic proportions that is designed to save humanity.
